Nolato has appointed Anders Bj\u00f6rklund as the new head of the consumer electronics segment within its Integrated Solutions business area. Anders Bj\u00f6rklund was appointed in the spring as President of the Industrial Solutions business area and a member of Nolato\u2019s Group management. He has taken up his positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOur customers are increasingly optimizing their resources and presence based on a worldwide market perspective and are looking for global suppliers with a local presence. A shared agenda and management of the Industrial Solutions business area and the consumer electronics market segment within the Integrated Solutions business area allows us to provide customers with a global offering of multi-site solutions. This allows us to proactively develop major new accounts and realize the full potential of our current customer base,\u201d said Nolato President and CEO Christer Wahlquist.<\/p>\n

A shared strategic process and agenda will facilitate closer cooperation between Industrial Solutions and the consumer electronics market segment within Integrated Solutions, increasing the ability to attract global customers with a wide array of solutions on different continents.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to be contributing further to strengthening Nolato\u2019s position as a strategic partner for a large number of global leading companies in a range of different sectors,\u201d said Anders Bj\u00f6rklund.<\/p>\n

Over the past decade, Anders Bj\u00f6rklund has held a number of senior management positions in the Sandvik Group and, before joining Nolato, was managing director of Kanthal, a division of Alleima. Anders has also previously worked at Gunnebo Industries, Volvo Construction Equipment and Ericsson.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re seeing customers increasingly looking for strategic cooperation with global partners that offer a local presence. Nolato has significant production capacity in about ten countries on three continents with about thirty facilities. With in-depth production expertise, a high level of innovation, a large number of customers and a solid financial position, we are confident about the future although the general industrial economy appears to be slowing down,\u201d said Nolato President and CEO Christer Wahlquist.<\/p>\n

The current head of the consumer electronics market segment, J\u00f6rgen Karlsson, is retiring after 27 years at Nolato.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
